This is the finished stocking. I used Ultra Suede as the main fabric, machine quilted the details and then hand colored it for additional depth. He sports antique metallic trims and hand painted eyes.

The images I had to work from while sketching the custom house portrait.

The second commissioned stocking by a client, this one is based on the elaborate Dresden ornament pictured above. Highly detailed, he would have held candy in the tiny silk pouch at his neck.
